Round 1 Update

UPDATE

ACSS Intern Dave pointed out I accidentally gave Egypt 1 point even though they lost their first game to Uruguay. This doesn't change any of the standings, just drops Dan back one point and makes my fun facts incorrect.

With Round 1 complete, we have a very competitive competition at the top and then Fodor and I questioning our lives.

Team Points Goal Dif
Dave Weir 9 6
Matt Transon 9 4
Dan Noffke 7 2
Shark 7 -3
Ryan Parrent 6 0
Tim Fodor 4 -3
Steve Noffke 2 -2
Mark Fodor 1 -4
Fun Facts

While Dave and Matt are tied, Dave holds Goal Differential advantage thanks to Russia scoring 5 goals (and scored 3 more today).
Dan is the only player to have each of his teams earn a point, 2 wins and 2 ties.
The worst pick so far is Germany chosen #1 who got Ryan 0 points in it’s opening game
The best pick so far is Iran, chosen last by Ryan and scored 3 points in it’s opening game defeating Morocco, taken 2 picks earlier.
Dan and Ryan are the only players to get points out of their last pick, both wins.
The 2nd picks have been the most productive so far. 6 teams won, Fodor’s Swiss pick got him his only point in a tie and then there’s me with Poland losing.

Please check my math.
