Now What?

The NFL is finally over. Baseball Spring Training doesn't start for another month (and who really cares anyways?). Baseball itself doesn't start for another 2 months. The NBA and NHL are in their dog legs, just end the seasons already lets get to the playoffs. March Madness is one month away still. So, that begs the question: what the hell are we supposed to do for the next month? Yes, we can watch Hockey and Basketball, but again, nothing too dramatic is likely to happen. College Basketball is fun to watch, but really, I'm gearing up for the conference tournies and the big tourny. Aside from this month being one of the coldest, it is also the worst for sports. So, now what?

  1. College basketball has to be the way to go. This is the time of the year you have to watch so that come march you can pick the 12-5 upset correctly.

  2. Agree with Dan. Of course, I'm biased, but it's also worth noting that my position as an IU columnist has very little to do with the actual Tournament. =)

College basketball is easily the thing to watch in February. Also, the NFL Draft (even with the bears not pickin til the 3rd round??) and NBA (meh) will be on my watch list.

And hey, there's the Winter Olympics! ::sigh::

  4. The only worthwhile sport is hockey, and I don't even watch the NHL.

If I want to watch The Flying Carrot, I'll watch the Winter X-Games.

And figure skating hasn't been relevant since I was 12. Girl forcing me to watch figure skating? That's a dealbreaker! (30 Rock)
