There you go. Now, what do I realistically think will happen with the Bears? I think they'll trade down. I think you'll see teams who want MARK INGRAM and/or QB's looking to trade to the top part of the first round. I think the Jaguars will trade up to take our pick. They'll trade us their second and third rounders (49 and 80) and we'll swap picks 114 for 127. That puts the trade value within about 15ish. So we'll get picks 49, 80, and 127 for picks 29 and 114. Keep in mind the draft is not the same as the mock draft above since there will actually be trades.

MY ACTUAL PREDICTION FOR THE BEARS PICKS:

40 - Jonathan Baldwin WR
62 - Jurrell Casey DT
80 - Clint Boling OG
93 - Chimdi Chekwa CB
114 - Joseph Barksdale OT
160 - Jake Kirkpatrick C
195 - T.J. Yates QB

So there you have it! My three round mock draft, and my picks for the Bears draft. LETS GO BEARS!

  1. For some reason, I would like to see the Bears stay put and take Mark Ingram themselves. Forget Chester Taylor.

I also wouldn't mind the troubled Marvin Austin - it's too bad Liuget has climbed so far. Somehow I suspect that Da'Quan Bowers may be available at 29 too, although our last Clemson DE, uhh, didn't work out so well.

    Fantastic job Ryan. Seriously.

  2. I was biased a bit. I think the Bears would take Austin, but I don't think he'll pan out. I think Jurrell Casey will be an AMAZING DT in the league, and would be perfect for the Bears. If you're right about Bowers than I would draft him without batting an eye. I am super pumped about the draft this year. Law School has ate up my draft time the last two years, but with nothing really going on in my last semester but joke classes that I'm pretty much done with, this was the first year I could focus on the draft again. The bad part about the draft is that it takes FOREVER to get here. And thanks for the compliment!

  3. By the way, I'm gonna name the best players at each position (minus FB, K, and P) we can verify in a few years:

    QB - Jake Locker
    RB - Mario Fannin
    WR - Greg Little
    TE - Jordan Cameron
    OT - Tyron Smith
    OG - Danny Watkins
    C - Mike Pouncey

    DE - Cameron Jordan
    DT - Jurrell Casey
    OLB - Akem Ayers
    MLB - Martez Wilson
    CB - Patrick Peterson
    FS - Rahim Moore
    SS - Tyler Sash

  4. Scratch my CB, FS, and SS picks.

    I'll say:

    CB - Prince Amukamara
    FS - Patrick Peterson
    SS - Rahim Moore

  5. Oops, I don't know why I put Rahim Moore at SS I meant to put

    SS - Aaron Williams

I think he'll move there and he isn't the fastest guy in the world. I obviously think Peterson will play FS later on, if not, than you can see that I think he'll be the best CB, either way. Then keep Rahim Moore at FS and move Aaron Williams to SS.

  6. Okay, I was goanna say... tyler sash will be a great special teams player but I can't see him starting.

Amukamara is amazing. I think Julio Jones is going to be one HELL of a wide receiver. And, call me crazy, but i like Andy Dalton for QB down the road.

  7. Tyler Sash was the most overated played in the country last year. He had a crappy Jr year, but lucked into a bunch of picks and fumbles, so everyone assumed he must be good.

The way you go into the draft is crazy. Texting back and forth has put me to shame with the amount of stuff you guys know.

Best part of last night. Ponder going 12. Wow, i've seen some reached in my life but holy crap.

I was hoping the Bears got Bowers, now I hope he's knees explode.
