Mark Buehrle Wins Gold Glove


It's been annouced, Mark Buehrle has won his first Gold Glove. Congrats to him, it's been a long time coming.

  1. Woohoo! That is awesome. Way to go, 56. As you say, the real shocker is that it's his first GG. Guess throwing a perfect game will earn you some attention, after all.

    Eight pickoffs from one of the fastest glove-to-pitch guys in the majors is very impressive.

    Buehrle's stats for the year:

    13-10, 3.84 ERA, 1.25 WHIP, 105 K's.

    On the career:

    135-97, 24 complete games, 8 shutouts, 3.80 ERA, 1.27 WHIP. 1,188 K's.
