ACSS WORLD CUP DRAFT
This will be our official draft location. Almost everyone has writing ability for the blog, so when its your turn, log on and fill in the team you select. All trash talking and mocking of picks should be done in the comments section. It seems a bunch of us like the idea of starting now and drafting over the next 36 hours.
Along with this idea, we are going to allow trading of picks/teams. Every person is only allowed to have 4 teams. Uneven trades for picks are allowed (2 for 1 or 3 for 2 etc) with person giving away more teams taking over the last pick in the draft. Once all 32 teams have been drafted, no more uneven trades will be allowed. Trading teams will be allowed up until the the kickoff of the first game Friday. At that point, all teams will be finalized. So feel free to do back room dealings or proposing trades in the comments. Let the drafting begin

Spain... there is speculation that this pick may be going to the Chicago Bulls in exchange for lamarcus aldridge.
ReplyDeleteHaha, the back room dealings have begun. Who is your source Fodor, John Clayton?
ReplyDeleteJohn Clayton has the kind of head that will look great in a Futurama jar 400 years from now.
ReplyDeleteI hate you Derek. That was such a reach! Was hoping they'd last to seven, we had the sign and trade all set up
ReplyDeleteHaha, sorry. I didn't do the research I should have...
ReplyDeleteColin picks the craziest manager in the world. Not suprising
ReplyDeleteDerek, that was a huge reach, not going to lie, sure they are basically the same team that won the cup 4 years ago, but that means they are all 4 years older
ReplyDeleteThat said, I was definitely going to take them at 7. If you want to make a trade later, I may consider giving you a 2-for-1, Derek! Depends who I get at 15, 18.
ReplyDeleteI heard they found a time machine...
ReplyDeleteI'll be open for some trade scenarios...let's see how this plays out
ReplyDeleteThe way things were playing out, i was hoping that portugal would some how fall to me.
ReplyDeleteI hate you Dan and Tim, I hoped one of the Portugal, France, England or Serbia would fall to me, After the top 10 I see a serious drop.
ReplyDeleteSorry Noffke
ReplyDeleteHad to make a dent with the 8-9. I don't get to pick again for awhile.
ReplyDeleteHey Derek, I'm taking Denmark with the #18. I will trade you Denmark and Uruguay for either Mexico and Nigeria (your pick at 19, if you agree), or Italy 2-for-1. Let me know. Also open to other trade offers, fellas.
ReplyDeleteI think I'll have to pass. Italy is lookung good for a 3-0 group round...and mexico is my dark horse.
ReplyDeleteGood draft, I officially hate half of you for picking my teams. Fodor, congrats on North Korea, the Captain predicted North Korea and Brazil would advance from thier group, so you got that going for ya.
ReplyDeleteYes, also they have submarines and nuclear technology!
